Chawton House will be reopening its doors for the festive season, with a beautiful festive display celebrating Christmas traditions of days gone by.
See the House beautifully dressed with traditional decorations, handcrafted by Chawton House’s volunteer Christmas Committee, and with trees cut from the Chawton House estate. Step into the Dining Room and admire Edward Austen Knight’s dining table, all set up for a festive meal, while the Long Gallery will bring together the Twelve Knits of Christmas.
The Old Kitchen Tearoom will be serving delicious festive treats, including homemade mince pies and warming glasses of mulled wine, while the Shop will be filled with seasonal delights and stocking fillers.
