FAQ;s

  • Why are there two show times? because it is a picnic style event, we are limiting the capacity to 800 per show, we are staging two shows one at 2pm another at 6pm to give as many people as possible the chance to see the show. A ticket only entitles you to attend one of the shows, so please be careful and choose the time that you would like. If you would like to attend both shows then please buy a ticket for each one.
  • What time will it start? Show 1 - The gates will open at 1pm and the show will start at 2pm. Show 2 - The gates will open at 5pm and the show will start at 6pm.

  • Is it a seated or standing event? It is a 'Picnic Style' event. This means that there is no seating provided but you are welcome to bring with you a folding chair or a blanket to sit on. Please do not bring in a tent or gazebo, we won't allow these to be put up because they tend to obstruct the view of others attending.
  • What food and drinks will be available? . The Castle Kitchen Team will be offering their usual variety of quality food, delicious iced creams and milkshakes as well as hot beverages and bottles of beer and wine. You are also more than welcome to bring in a picnic and your own food and drink items.

However, everybody entering the venue will need to have purchased a ticket as this is classified as a large outdoor event that has a restricted capacity, even babes in arms must have a ticket to enter. Children under the age of 5 are welcome but at the discretion of their parents or guardian, all children must have a purchased ticket to enter whatever their age is.
  • Are dogs or pets allowed? No. Apart from registered guide dogs. It will be crowded and noisy and unsuitable for pets.
