An expert in historic dress, and former curator of the Royal Ceremonial Dress Collection – a treasure trove of over 10,000 items of royal and court dress housed at Hampton Court Palace – in this one hour talk Eleri will explore what the wardrobes of Henry VIII’s six wives reveal about the lives and personalities of these iconic Queens, and what she learnt about this important period in British fashion while researching her book Tudor Textiles.
